Every engagement starts with a conversation about your students, your teachers, and what you're trying to build. What I offer isn't a fixed program but rather a set of tools and approaches I customize based on what your school actually needs.
Professional Development Workshops
Workshops are available in keynote, half-day, and full-day formats, but the real answer is that it depends on what you need. Some schools want a single day to spark a conversation. Others want a week of intensive work, or monthly sessions across a school year, or a district kickoff followed by building-level follow-up. I'll tell you what I think will work best for your goals, and then we'll build something that fits.
Content is customized after a discovery conversation about your context, teachers, and goals, typically drawing from:
Culturally relevant STEM unit design
Project-based learning implementation
Makerspace development
Implementation Coaching
For schools ready to go deeper than a single workshop. Coaching engagements are built around what your teachers actually need — a few visits over a semester, monthly check-ins across a school year, or something else entirely. A typical visit might include:
Classroom observation
Co-teaching and modeling
One-on-one reflection and co-planning with individual teachers
Available in person or virtually. Coaching works well alongside a workshop engagement, but can also stand alone for schools that have already started this work and want sustained support.
The goal is a teaching team that keeps building long after I leave.
For Individual Teachers
Not every teacher works in a district that's ready to make this investment. One-on-one coaching is available for individual teachers working on culturally relevant STEM instruction on their own.
